Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Eka Hospital Group held an activity themed “Optimal Growth and Development, Healthy Children” to welcome National Children’s Day which falls on 23 July 2023. This activity is in collaboration with Kalbe Nutritionals.
The activity started on July 20, and started with a webinar, health talk with a number of pediatricians and a coloring contest. The entire series of activities were held at all Eka Hospital branches, which included BSD, Cibubur, Bekasi, Pekanbaru, and RSIA Family Pluit and Grand Family PIK.
The National Children’s Day event at Eka Hospital began with a health talk webinar by presenting resource persons dr. Buntat Huang, Sp.A, Pediatrician at Eka Hospital Pekanbaru, discussing DHA Nutrition for Brain Growth and Development in children.
Besides that, dr. Yoke Kinanthi Putri, MSc, Sp.A, Pediatrician at Eka Hospital Bekasi who explained about the Role of Bifidobacterium Probiotics in Babies with Allergies in children.
dr. Buntat explained, the role of breast milk in providing the nutrition needed by babies in the process of growth and development.
“90% of baby’s brain development occurs before the age of 5 years, here the role of the mother is very important in ensuring that her nutrition is fulfilled because the brain requires more than 1 nutrient,” he said in a written statement, Tuesday (25/7/2023).
Meanwhile dr. Yoke added that the role of bifidobacterium probiotics in infants and children can help overcome digestive problems which can also be caused by allergic reactions.

Not only webinars, health education was also continued with an Instagram Live talk show with dr. Ria Puspitasari, Sp.A, CIMI, RSIA Grand Family Pediatrician who discusses everything mothers need to help their little ones achieve ideal weight regardless of allergies they have.
On the same occasion a coloring contest was held as the highlight to close the series of National Children’s Day events this year, where all children in Indonesia could participate to win attractive prizes.
This competition was held simultaneously in all Eka Hospital Group units and was enlivened by more than 150 children who took part in the competition.
The coloring competition is held to hone creativity, motor skills, foster a creative spirit, and is a form of appreciation for visual differences. At a young age, coloring can help shape imaginations and inspire children to think of new ideas naturally.
Not only that, giving out goodie bags to all inpatient pediatric patients was also carried out simultaneously.
